Nasal obstruction usually occurs when your nasal discharge is thick. Too thick to drain. Thin discharges drains easily, so would rarely cause a nasal obstruction.
Often the thick, stubborn discharge is gluey or stringy. When you can finally get some out, it’s sticky like chewing gum.
Once a discharge remains locked in your sinuses, it may become infected, so the typical colour of it is yellow or yellow/green. And the pressure may build up, creating a pain. Perhaps a pain at the root of your nose which feels heavy or burns.
If any of this sounds like your condition, then the homeopathic medicine Kali bich may well totally resolve it.
To find the most appropriate homeopathic medicine for you, you need to be able to match at least three keynote symptoms of the medicine with your symptoms.
If the above stickiness and type of headache looks good, then you only need another symptom.
Those who benefit from Kali bich feel worse when the affected area is exposed to cold, but better with warmth. Generally the nasal obstruction is worse during the night or on waking. And it can be bad after eating.
Because of the nature of the thick discharge, it tends to make your voice sound nasally.
Another way to resolve this problem is to use a neti pot and saline solution. What you’re doing here is to breathe in a warm, weak salt solution and holding it in your nose and sinuses. Do one nostril at a time.
This can clear all the discharge.

Nerve pain will occur when you damage an area which is rich in nerves. Or it can come about from an inner disturbance.
Areas which are rich in nerves are the head, the spine, the fingers and toes, the eyes, the mouth and the genitals. So any injury to these parts are going to sustain a greater potential for nerve damage and so nerve pain, than other areas.
The typical pain of an injured nerve is sharp. Sharp and shooting. Away from the site of injury. And it feels like an electric shock. A buzzing or a stinging. Perhaps a tingling.
The homeopathic medicine Hypericum is an excellent choice to repair damaged nerves
When old injuries to nerves are treated with Hypericum, the normal and healthy sensations are tingling, as the feeling comes back. It may also be a feeling of pins and needles. Unpleasant though this may be at the time, it does indicate that a healing is taking place.
Even old injuries, where there is a numbness because of a deadened nerve, can respond to Hypericum. This can take time, but the potential to reverse the damage is very real.
A pony once trod on my bare toes. (What an idiot for being around ponies without properly booted feet.) The pain was so exquisite, I couldn’t think, let alone walk for quite a while afterwards. The damage was almost totally on the tip of one toe, just where the nerves are in plentiful supply.
The nail fell off, but regrew later. But the pain was totally resolved with Hypericum. And the bleeding with Arnica.
Other conditions that can result in nerve pain is dental work. Many people suffer terrible pain afterwards. And Hypericum will resolve the injury to the nerves. It’s important to realise that this medicine is limited to the pain in nerves after an injury.

Overcoming grief can be as simple as allowing the grief to happen. Don’t try to stifle it. Abandon yourself to the crying. Allow tears to well up when you’re talking to friends. The worse thing you can do is to try to control the process. And yet, this is exactly what everyone does.
Grief is a perfectly normal and natural emotion to feel and it needs time to allow for the process. If you can allow the process to work, without trying to interfere, then you are more than likely to resolve it yourself. If friends make comments, abandon the friends, at least while you are grieving. They’re not helping you.
But overcoming grief if you have a lot of buried grief from past, unresolved experiences, may require some help. Because the load may be too much to carry and process on your own.
It’s vitally important to realise that if you allow the grief to be buried, you may slowly (or perhaps not so slowly) work your way towards depression.
There are many homeopathic medicines which will help you unload your grief in an easy and gentle manner. But this is best dealt with by a professional homeopath.
However, there is a very common homeopathic medicine called Ignatia that has a great reputation for helping to overcome grief. It doesn’t suit everyone, but it does help many.
As with all homeopathic medicines, you do need to be able to match your symptoms to those of the medicine. The strong keynote symptoms of Ignatia are a sighing which started after a grief, a lump in your throat which is an emotional lump, rather than a physical one and a spasm of coughing which is not related to any respiratory condition.
If you can see anything familiar, then Ignatia is likely to help in overcoming grief from a loss.

Sciatic nerve damage is quite a loose term. It typically indicates there is a problem with your sciatic nerve, which runs from your back to your foot. So any problem with this nerve can travel the entire length, giving you symptoms.
Since it starts in the back, it’s often felt the cause is a back injury, which may well be the case. But there are other reasons, not necessarily related to injury or damage, which can result in the symptoms that lead to this diagnosis.
Sciatic nerve damage means just that – damage. Or injury. So if you can recall just when you noticed the symptom starting, you may be more than half way to resolving it.
If it started about the time of an accident, which involved a lot of soft or hard tissue damage, then I can guarantee that this is at least one of the main causes.
When you take analgaesics, natural symptoms can be masked, so you may not have noticed the typical pain of nerve damage – a sharp, shooting pain, reminiscent of an electric shock. And it shoots away from the site of injury.
But later on you may have experienced more minor symptoms of tingling, stinging or pins and needles. These are all sure signs of nerve damage.
The homeopathic medicine Hypericum is excellent for resolving the pain of sciatic nerve damage, by repairing the damage. Initially, you may experience sharp stinging pains, as the nerve starts to work again. This is an excellent sign if it starts after taking the medicine. In time (normally a short period), this will die back.

Some typical symptoms of grief which normally occur immediately after a grief can include either crying (which may be hysterical or bordering on hysterical) or an emotional numbness.
Every individual is just that. Individual. So everyone will experience grief in a different way. So the weeping may not last very long. It may give way to your own particular weakness, be that a headache, the development of twitches or chorea or in women, the periods can suddenly stop.
Your unique symptoms are only going to mean something to you (and to homeopaths). So you need to be aware of when they started.
Apart from these very personal symptoms, you may also experience a lump in your throat. This will be an emotional lump, rather than a physical one you can see. But it will feel very physical.
Another symptom of grief, which you are unlikely to notice, is a sighing. We never notice that in ourselves, but others around you will. Ask them. Sighing is a very common symptom of unrelieved grief.
Humans are very good at ‘swallowing’ our grief, because it has become unacceptable to cry in public. Why? If it’s uncomfortable for others, that’s their problem. It certainly isn’t harming them. And it certainly isn’t a sign of weakness.
However, because of that, we do tend to suppress our grief. By swallowing it, the symptoms of grief tend to be focused on your throat – the lump, the sighing. And also you may experience spasms of coughing which are not related to any respiratory problem. Again, it’s an emotional symptom.
All these symptoms perfectly match the homeopathic medicine Ignatia. So if your symptoms of grief are a good match to those listed, then Ignatia is likely to be very helpful.
By learning to express your grief, you will let it go naturally. This is the healthiest option. The alternative is to accumulate deeply buried grief, which must resurface eventually.

Lowering cholesterol naturally is becoming an increasingly popular alternative to prescription drugs and their unwanted side effects. Lowering cholesterol naturally is possible with the right combination of diet, exercise, and attitude.
For those with existing heart disease, the benefits of lowering cholesterol naturally is a 30 percent reduction in total mortality, a 34 percent reduction in fatal and non-fatal heart attacks and a 37 percent reduction in the need for bypass surgery.
The human body produces oils and other substances that circulate in the bloodstream. An example is insulin, which is secreted from the pancreas in response to the increase in the amount of sugar coming from the food that the person eats. The cells then absorb this, which gives the individual calories that are used as energy.
Another substance that the body produces naturally is cholesterol. This is also ingested in the food people eat. There are two types of cholesterol namely LDL and HDL. LDL is better known as bad cholesterol. The reason why it is bad is because too much of this in the system may put the person at risk of suffering from either a heart attack or a stroke.
HDL in simple terms is good cholesterol because its job is to regulate the flow the bad one so this can be filtered out of the person’s system. There must be a balanced between the two so the individual is healthy.
Whenever people get a blood test, the patient will see a breakdown of the LDL and HDL in the system. Though not that significant as the first two, doctors pay attention to two other figures namely the total cholesterol and the triglyceride level.
In order to be given a clean bill of health, the patient must stay within a certain range. Those who have less than 200mg/dl in total cholesterol are safe. The same goes for someone who has less than 150mg/dl in the triglycerides.
So what happens if the person goes beyond the limit? In simple terms, the individual is at risk of developing high blood pressure or a heart disease. The good news is that the person can still prevent such a thing from happening. There are three simple ways to do it and this must be done gradually before something bad really happens to the individual.
The first is to change the diet. This means eating less of those that are high in saturated fats such as red meat and dairy products. This should be changed for fish, fruits, nuts, oatmeal and vegetables. Studies have shown that those who eat oatmeal regularly are able to reduce the LDL and trigylecerides level in just 2 weeks. Imagine what could happen if this is done even after just a month?
The second is exercise. The body has stored fat after how many years of not engaging in any physical activity. Changing the eating habits can only go so far and sweating it out will increase the metabolic rate thus helping reduce the patient’s cholesterol levels.
The third, which doesn’t happen often, is for the individual to to aid in the reduction of cholesterol. Examples of these are bible acid resins, ezetimibe, fibric acid, niacin and statins.
These are available in different brands and studies have proven can lower the cholesterol from 15% to 30% when this is taken in regularly.
Should exercise and dieting not work, the patient must remember that the intake of these drugs has certain side effects. The doctor should explain this before even prescribing this so the individual can choose from the wide range of drugs that can be used to lower one’s cholesterol.
Prevention is the best way to combat any disease. A regular checkup at the doctor’s office will surely save money instead of being confined in the hospital.
Lowering cholesterol naturally is always a part of cholesterol management. There are several safe and very effective natural cholesterol lowering supplements that can help to lower cholesterol naturally without the harmful side-effects of traditional. Find out more about
