“I’m not sure it penetrates.”

you can ignore the glossies as a woman. You don’t have to really get into that. The big problem is when people start to project this stuff in real life to their friends/peers and start to perpetuate negativity about it, when they see something wrong and don’t see it for what it is within it’s own glossy perspective that’s what make women get annorexic because they have to hear it all the time from macho guys

The real world is ugly enough. I say photoshop MORE…besides, nothing in the media is real or accurate anyhow. Just watch the news.

If the readers know that all the pictures are fixed then why do they do it? If a Magician showed everybody how he did all his tricks I dont think he would keep using those tricks at his shows. It would be kind of stupid. So the answer is, No….. All readers are not aware that the pictures are fixed. U cant believe what they say anyway. They make fake photos so what makes u think their words arent fake?

Retouching should not be banned but it should not be extreme, either. Like the saying, too much of a good thing is bad enough.

Didn’t Photoshop my headshot, but sometimes great lighting gives the same effect. A person should look like their picture. If not, what’s the point? You may as well draw them.

That would make me feel bad about myself.
“lets remove some of these bags….and oh oh some those freckles…ooooo these blemishes too….yuck those love handles have go to go…”
August 31st, 2010 at 3:05 am (#)
retouching should NOT be banned, but there should be some kind of sign or label that tells whether or not the picture was retouched

And that’s pretty basic stuff too… Like stuff that I could do. Oy.
But no I don’t think it should be banned.
