Question by Mommy of One: Has anyone done the “low carb-high protein diet” and did it work for weight loss?
I just had a baby 6 weeks ago and gained 62 lbs. with the pregnancy. So far I’ve lost 34 and still have 28 to go!
I’m trying the high protein-low carb diet …. but eating healthy protein (chicken, fish, turkey, etc.)
has this diet worked for anyone??? did you lose weight? and how long did it take???
and how many carbs did you eat per day???
Thanks!

You might be asking about the Atkins or South Beach diets – both of which are excellent and healthy ways to lose weight. Check out the message boards on these topics at iVillage.com. They’re safe and filled with information!

Question by Sharon: Has anyone tried the diet pill “lipozene” and is it safe and work at all?

Answer by AtLarge
I used Lipozene, I took it more for the energy -> which motivated me to exercise more and move around more instead of sitting down and watching TV. It didn’t make me shaky like some other diet pills I have tried. It did also curb my appetite.
What do you think? Answer below!

Question by Kristi L: Has anyone ever had good weight loss results off of the diet pill “Lipozene”?
I am trying to lose my baby weight and a friend told me that Lipozene was a good diet pill. I just wanted to get some opinions about the drug and how much was the average amount of weight loss per week. Thanks to everyone who answers.

Don’t take any diet pill if your breast feeding (hope thats what you meant by baby weight)
Here is an in depth article on Lipozine http://www.w8lossreviews.com/lipozene.php from whats there I would say no dont take it… Do you really have a lot to lose, if your BMI is under 27 stick to just plain old diet and exercise. If your over that then a diet pill will probably be of help to see rapid weight loss.
Proactol is like Alli without the side effects, it may be a better solution for you, right now they are giving away 5 days free trial, not sure of all the details, but worth a look. It must be good if they only need to give out 5 day packages for people to see results. http://www.w8lossreviews.com/proactol_trial.php
