Can a cup of tea cure panic attacks? No, definitely not. But a cup of the right tea can help both in the prevention of a panic attack as well as getting over the stress of having had one. Herbal teas can soothe the nervous system and aid in getting a good night’s sleep. This is essential when dealing with anxiety as lack of quality sleep only results in a more burdened nervous system.

 Valerian Root tea has an excellent reputation for promoting sleep and calming anxiety.  Its strong flavor doesn’t please everybody so you might like to try it with some honey.

 Kava is a member of the peppercorn family and it is a very popular beverage in the South Pacific. It has long been used as a relaxant and is effective in the treatment of insomnia.

Sleep panic attacks are a common occurrence; however they are less common than panic attacks that strike during the daylight hours.
