One of the best ones is the advantage it gives over the battle of the flu bug</P><P>After a study of exercise using mice it was found that regular exercise may help fight the flu and cold infections by increasing the immune systems response to the virus.</P><P>If you are a couch potato who never exercises and does not eat healthy you are more susceptible to the flu virus than people who exercise moderately on a regular basis. Exercising long and hard to the point of exhaustion may make you more vulnerable as well. Exercise does have a lot of benefits, and helping to strengthen the immune system is just one of them.</P><P>Studies show that exercise helps boost activity in the immune system to limit viral attacks and eliminate harmful viruses from our bodies faster.</P><P>When experiments were executed with mice, it was found that mice that regularly ran on a treadmill over 3.5 months had less-severe symptoms when injected with the flu virus than mice who didn&#8217;t exercise at all.</P><P>Another interesting finding was that a mouse who exercises just before the flu injection but not regularly before hand, also showed protection against symptoms. For a mouse this means loss of weight and appetite.</P><P>The difference was these benefits lasted for a short time while long term exercise resulted in long term benefits.</P><P>These findings where reported in the Journal of Infectious Diseases and if these findings are the same for humans is not clear. Certainly they are possible and it is also clear that people who ear healthy and exercise regularly suffer less-severe respiratory infections.</P><P>Mice that exercised regularly had lower levels of inflammation in their lungs after being infected by the flu virus, compared with mice who did not exercise. Those levels stayed lower for the long term, compared to mice with only one workout whose levels were high after just a few days.</P><P>There was also a lower concentration of virus in the lungs of the healthy regular exercising mice in the early stages.</P><P>Based on these findings and experiments exercise boosts &#8220;early innate antiviral defenses&#8221; although how this actually happens still is a bit of a mystery.</P><P>Eating the right foods that will help to boost your immune system and give you more energy is just another ingredient to help fight and win the battle against the flu virus.<BR /></P>  </p>

Instead, often your body is telling you that it is lacking nutrition, which most convenience foods do not have. The solution is to get that nutrition through supplementation, particularly with Organic Vitamins because they are the purest form of concentrates from a variety of essential nutrients. The fact of the matter is that most of the food we eat today is processed, and as a result it is stripped of all the pure organic vitamins and minerals that it once had.</p>

For example, most sports nutrition organic vitamins are quickly absorbed by the blood and carried out to the joints or muscle fibers which allows for faster recovery and more energy to those parts of the body when it&#8217;s needed. Similarly, there are a lot of weight management organic vitamins that can affect different parts of the body, such as increasing the heart rate or preventing absorption into the stomach or digestive track for example. Whichever organic vitamin is right for your particular needs, it is important to realize that getting enough nutrition into your diet is critically important to live a long and happy life.</p>

It seems like a counterintuitive question to ask––after all, if these were bad for anybody, you would have heard about it by now… right?</p>
<p>Well, although it is healthy and beneficial for most people, there are definitely some instances (and certain individuals) where it’s not only not helpful, but potentially deadly. This is not to say that all the people out there taking this oil are being harmed, but do you remember the expression about how too much of a good thing is no longer good? This applies to fish oil too.</p>
<p>The most dangerous aspect of fish is the potential for poisoning from mercury or other lethal toxins. Unfortunately, there is a lot of pollution and junk in our oceans and rivers, so there are a lot of fish full of contaminants and toxins. All that stuff that gets into the waters is absorbed by the fish, and then when people eat the fish or harvest these oils and consume them, those people also accumulate toxins in their bodies. You do want and need the Omega-3 Essential Fatty Acids, but you do not want toxins, heavy metals, or contaminants of any sort.</p>
<p>Fortunately, for this problem, there is something called pharmaceutical-grade fish oil. The process for getting this is distillation, where the oil is stripped of all those toxins and contaminants, leaving just the Omega-3 Essential Fatty Acids. However, not all this oil on the market is pharmaceutical-grade. It’s up to you to do your homework and make sure you’re getting the right kind. Otherwise, you might be doing yourself more harm than good––and you could be doing yourself harm for a lot cheaper without it.</p>
<p>The other chief risk of this oil is when it’s combined with another blood thinner. Fish oil is an anti-coagulant (or blood thinner), which means that it stops you from having blood clots form. This is great if you’re trying to prevent a heart attack or reduce the damage of one that you’re having. It’s not great if you need to have a blood clot after you’ve injured yourself, because then you’re in danger of bleeding out. Taking this oil with aspirins, for example, is dangerous.</p>
<p>So, is fish oil harmful? Aside from some people who might be allergic or less able to digest it, pharmaceutical-grade oil is a healthy supplement. However, if you get just any generic brand, you run the risk of consuming toxins and contaminants in addition to the good stuff. Having toxins in your body is another source of chronic inflammation, which is one of the leading causes of a number of chronic or lifestyle diseases. If you are suffering from toxins in your body, you’re actually increasing the likelihood of these diseases than if you didn’t take anything at all.</p>
<p>For that reason, make sure that if you decide to take fish oil, you get the pharmaceutical-grade variety, and be careful about when you take it. It might be a good idea to consult a doctor to make sure that you’re not allergic and that you can handle it.</p>

These aspects may incude:</p>
<p><strong>Blood Sugar Levels</strong></p>
<p>Low amounts of calories in the body trigger bloodsugar levels. This is often characterised by feeling tired, irritability, restlessness and anxiety. All these cause one to have a craving for something sweet and rich in carbohydrates. This is beccause the body needs glucose which is needed to provide energy for the bodily functions yet the supply is minimal. The brain and the central nervous system are the main beneficiaries of glucose. The brain is known to consume close to 2/3 of the glucose supply when one is active or one is asleep. This urge to eat sweet foods is the mechanism of the body to get one to eat in vast amounts. As one consumes more and more food, the blood sugar raises to very high levels triggering insulin to start deploying glucose to the muscles and liver areas. This is good for the proper functioning of the body. However, some people tend to overeat. Overeating leads to glucose being directed in the fat cells to be stored as a reserve. This reserve is hardly utilised and thus more accumulation will result in one getting fat.</p>
<p><strong>The Serotonin Levels</strong></p>
<p>Serotanin is obtained from tryptophan. It is used as a nuerotransmiter for the brain and the nervous system. A good level of serotanin in the blood ensures that one feels okay and the sleep pattern proceed in the required form. Everyone has in one time or the other been awoken from sleep by hunger pangs; this is a result of low serotanin levels disrupting the sleep to inform you that you need carbohydrates. One may argue that the carbohydrates will make them fatter but this situation indicates low calorie levels that require carbohydrate intervention.</p>
<p>It is therefore that bodybuilders need to take a light carbohydrate say a snack before sleep in order to ensure better sleep patterns through appropriate levels of serotanin.</p>
<p><strong>The Muscle Protein and the Metabolism Issue</strong></p>
<p>When the body is deprived of energy, the muscles are often broken down to create glucose for the body especially the brain. Some people have heard that ketone bodies are at times broken down to provide energy for the brain. This is not entirely true as the brain will continue to only utilise glucose and hence the muscles will still be used for that.</p>
<p>The body however does not advocate for muscle breadown and so it will tend to slow down the matebolic in order to reduce most energy requirements for as long as possible. As the muscles breakdown, the energy requirements are lowered, fewer calories are burnt and hence they are stored as fat.This explains why low calorie diets are discouraged while one is trying to cut excess weight.</p>
<p><strong>The Lipoprotein Lipase Issue</strong></p>
<p>The body has the system of recovery whereby it can gain back the weight it lost in months in just a few days. This is enble through an enzyme called lipoprotein lipase which is developed whenever one undereats for long periods of time.</p>
<p>After that period is over, they work by converting whatever meal you take to fat.</p>
<p><strong>Malnutrition of the Borderline type </strong></p>
<p>This type of malnutrition occurs in candidates who are overzelous to diet down their weight. It has several characteristics such:</p>
<p>Water retention which is dangerous since it may be interpreted as weight and thus further efffort will be put in order to fight weight gain.</p>
<p>Iron deficiency resulting to borderline anemia is also a common phenomenon. Lack of various nutrients causes the body to trigger hunger in an effort to suppplement these nutrients from food.</p>
<p><strong>Poststarvation-Hyperphagia</strong></p>
<p>Another factor is Poststarvation hyperphagia. This is a heightened hunger feeling that is particularly hard to ignore. This makes one eat alot leading to further fat deposition.</p>

<p>Back in the 80&#8242;s, Olivia Newton-John popularized the song &#8220;Let&#8217;s Get Physical&#8221; which promoted fitness and about the same time, physical fitness videos by celebrities flooded the market such as the legendary Jane Fonda Aerobics Videos.  Even John Travolta&#8217;s dance movie, &#8220;Staying Alive&#8221; capitalized on the fact that the then-emerging star was being mentored by no less than Sylvester Stallone for his physical fitness program to fit the role to a &#8220;T&#8221;.</p>
<p>In today&#8217;s world where survival of the fittest becomes the name of the game, being overweight is considered absolutely unsexy.  The message is clear as you see it on tv, billboards, and magazines. Has everyone gone self-conscious?  Let&#8217;s face it.  It&#8217;s not just about vanity or feeling good about yourself.  It&#8217;s about living a healthy lifestyle.  The universal need to look and feel sexually desirable just comes secondary.  Whether you like it or not, being overweight is unattractive and can pose serious consequences in one&#8217;s health condition. </p>
<p>How true is it that for every pound you lose, the more sexually desirable you become?  Though there are people who prefer sexual partners who are on the voluptous side, a great number still prefer having the right curves and bulges at the right places.   However, being sexually attractive is not the only goal we need to consider. Whether you are a man or a woman, you are responsible to always keep your body in good condition, if not in perfect shape. Losing weight can improve the sexual health of both men and women.  The couple becomes more aware of each others new size.  Their sexual senses have become more attuned to the sexual stimuli which they receive and therefore increases their sexual pleasure.  By having slimmer bodies, both the man and the woman becomes comfortable with their bodies and they tend to enjoy each other better when it comes to their sexual activities, as compared to overweight couples. It is no longer just a physical thing, it becomes an emotional factor.</p>

<p>It is believed that obesity could greatly affect male sexual health concerning infertility.  According to the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS),&#8221;overweight men are significantly more likely to be infertile than normal-weight men, and that for every 20-pound body weight gain in men there is a ten per cent increase in infertility.&#8221;  Though statistics show that women are more prone to obesity that men, still, this clearly shows that men should also take care of their weight for their health&#8217;s sake.</p>
<p>On the other hand, obese women are particularly susceptible to increase in blood pressure than their male counterparts.  There is also higher risk of cancers such as postmenopausal breast cancer and endometrial cancer, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.</p>
<p>Body Image and Healthy Weight</p>
<p>For all its worth, men and women alike should maintain an ideal body weight and image.  Body image is the way we project ourselves and how we perceive and imagine the response of others.  It is not inborn, therefore, we can do something about it.  Healthy weight is the size which a person achieves based on the goal initially set in accordance with the person&#8217;s physical condition as determined by a medical professional.<br />People try to find sensible and sustainable ways to achieve and maintain a healthy weight on a long term basis.   Maintain a healthy diet, exercise regularly, lead a vice-free lifestyle, and all the good things in life will be added unto you as well.</p>
